3 out of 5 hackers are teenagers

RAB-5 has arrested three teenagers involved in hacking Imo IDs for a long time. Five hackers were arrested in a raid in Balitita and Maharajpur Bilmaria areas of Lalpur upazila in Natore.

Among the arrested are Alamgir Hossain, 20, son of Rezaul Karim of Balitita Islampur area of ​​Lalpur and Harun Or Rashid, 28, son of Jaber Ali Mandal of Satbaria Mandalpara in Kushtia Bheramara. The other three are teenagers.

Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Farhad Hossain, Company Commander of Natore RAB Office said that they were arrested in Balitita and Maharajpur Bilmaria areas last night on the basis of intelligence information. At the time, 10 mobile phones and 16 SIM cards were recovered.

During the preliminary interrogation, they said that they used to hack Imo IDs of users from different parts of the country, including expatriates, by using electronic devices for a long time. Later, they would take money from the near-ones of the victims. A case under Digital Security Act has been filed with Lalpur Police Station in this regard, said Farhad Hossain.
